PEAK-U is a pre-orientation, one-day workshop for students who want
to enhance their academic success in a professional school setting.
This program is designed to “front-load” entering students
for the challenges of their initial coursework.
PEAK-U Objectives:
- Boost study skills and test tacking techniques applicable to the
rigor of graduate school.
- Ascertain effective stress management skills to enhance academic
performance and prevent burnout.
- Develop a trouble-shooting plan to address difficulties during the
first 6 weeks of school and throughout the academic and clinical program.

Cost:
There is no cost for students participating in the
program. A continental breakfast and lunch will be provided. PEAK-U
is co-sponsored by KUMC School Allied Health and Student Counseling
& Educational Support Services (a part of the Division of Student
Services).
Limited Space, Deadline, & Application:
PEAK-U program spots are limited. Registration for the program will
proceed as applications are received (in the order received). Email
confirmation will be sent.
The PEAK-U application deadline is Monday, July 25.
